WHAT IF I CANT GET THE PROMO/TRADESHOW JOB I WANT?

Of course if any of the Assignments you try to select have ALREADY been selected by another Promotional Model, then you wont be able to assign yourself. It is a 'early bird gets the work' situation. ;0)

When you go to Demozilla, do a JOB BOARD search-- You may need to indicate a larger radius than the default 5 miles...that will help you to see what work is out there...put in number of miles you're willing to drive and you'll see whats within that radius. We'd recommend staying under 50 miles.

We recommend checking the job board at least once a week.

 

Also note, once you locate a job on the JOB BOARD you may want to make sure that you check for multiple dates on the same location. It might be a Friday/Saturday job or a Saturday/Sunday job at the same location.

Be sure to look at all dates and try to stay with same location if possible on all dates. Our Live Event Model Jobs start at $20 an hour and our tradeshow work can go as high as $50 an hour.

Promo Models are beating the odds during economic downturns...

Did you know that Promo Models, Brand Ambassadors, Spokesmodels, Demonstrators--all of these consumer oriented folks--keep on working through good times and bad?

That's right.

Promo Models, Promotional Models, Brand Ambassadors--whatever you like to call them--actually keep finding work.

Why?

Because it's there!

Remember that the essentials for living are basically food, water, clothing and shelter.

After that everything is GRAVY.

What do I mean by that?

I'll tell you.

You see, any item that is not a requirement for living--and there are LOTS of these items--requires that people FIND OUT about it.

Ding Dongs, Pop Tarts, Chewing Gum, Dishwashing Liquid, Apple Sauce, Shampoo, Razors, Credit Cards, Auto products,--the list goes on and on.
But one thing all these products have in common is this:

THEY ALL NEED PROMOTION.

Now, more than ever, Products need promotio multiple media channels, not to mention cel phones and apps.

There is no 'one way' anymore to promote products (that arent necessary to sustain life) to the public.
Of course there are digital marketers who can drill down into different databases and find the consumers who tend to buy certain kinds of products.

But in the helter skelter of the internet, smart phone, 5,000 channels on television--how do these marketers get new consumers to try their products and achieve brand loyalty?

LIVE EVENTS. EXPERIENTIAL MARKETING.

Thats how.

Right now Advertisers, PR Companies and Marketing Companies are throwing money down, hand over fist, to gain access to consumers at LIVE EVENTS. They realized some time ago that getting the product IN THE HANDS (and sometimes the MOUTHS) of consumers is the very best way to generate positive feelings and associations with that product.

NOTHING, and I mean NOTHING beats actually tasting, sampling, experiencing a product.
Even non stop advertising cannot conquer the actual EXPERIENCE of a product in real life and in real time.

And that's why there's work out there for YOU.

If you know how to take care of your grooming, have good hygiene and know how to treat people courteously...
If you know how to generate excitement and to see the value in a product...
If you are an upbeat person with an outgoing personality...

5. CA,NV, CT,NY, MI and Canada (Ontario, Calgary) Beverage Promo Models for Festivals

 Beverage Company needs LOCAL promotional girls for our summer festival tour. All talent will be required to provide their own transportation. Promo girls will be handing out our product and product literature to event attendees. Some set up and breakdown of promotional props is required but no heavy lifting or strenuous activity will be required. All talent will be provided with branded gear to wear at events but must wear their own jeans or jean shorts, whichever they prefer. ALTHOUGH THIS IS LOCAL: In the case of events far away from major cities, talent will be provided with lodging the duration of the event.

Pay: $15 per hour.

Diversity is important to us so please keep that in mind when selecting talent. We will need 2-4 female promo models who appear between the ages of 18-24 for 4-8 Hours per day on the following dates and and in the following locations. (this is not a touring job)

6. Seeking Live Events Promo Model Bookers/Brand Ambassador Staffers for all 50 US States.
We're looking for a few good men and women who know something about staffing using Promotional Models or Brand Ambassadors.  The right candidate will be familiar with Excel grids, have great phone skills and is a self-employed independent contractor.  As we arrange for live event promotional Spokesmodels for various brands, we will work with this Booker/Staffer/Manager to locate, book/staff models into various brand campaigns for beverages, beauty products, food etc. Staffers will book models into locations including many large scale retail outlets and big box stores.

If you have experience booking talent in any of these areas or have worked in this industry long enough to have strong motivation to work on the administrative side, we'd like to hear from you.

An important quality in the right candidate is a dedication not only to getting the job done, but doing it right. This includes replacing last minute cancellations, locating new talent to replenish your database (via modeling schools, internet job postings etc).

The right candidate will earn commission (as high as 40% on some jobs) for their work on each individual job that is fully booked by them. This is potentially quite lucrative (e.g. when you are given a booking of 40 stores on a weekend, the payout can be substantial.

The key element in this job is being able to communicate effectively by phone and email so typing, grammer and phone skills  as well as diplomacy skills are crucial. Cheerful upbeat personality, with incredible patience (missed shipments, sick talent, late talent, missing talent) are very important.
